Ben Alexander (Senior Partner)

Ben Alexander has extensive experience in the areas of Human Resource Management, Organizational Development and Workforce Diversity.  He has designed and implemented system-wide programs in each of these areas.  He is nationally known keynote speaker on the topic of workforce diversity and leadership competencies. 

His undergraduate work is Psychology from Johnson C. Smith University; His M.S. is in Human Resources Management from the American University.  He completed postgraduate studies in Organizational Systems Development at the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland and the Fielding Institute. 

Before Alexander Consulting and Training in 1981, he held HR, EEO and Civil Rights management positions with the U. S. Office of Personnel Management, The Federal Administration, the Federal Highway Administration. 

He currently holds the positions of Adjunct Professor in the American University School of International Service’s Inter-Cultural Management Institute, Leadership Coach at the Gestalt International Service Center, and special Government Expert for the U. S. Department of Transportation Office and Inspector General.

Debra Alexander is a senior consultant with more than 20 years of experience in the areas of organizational development and instructional design.  She has designed and conducted numerous system-wide projects for organizations in both the public and private sectors, including Fortune 500 companies,  non-profit organizations, and city, State and Federal government throughout the United States. 

Her areas of expertise include improving individual, group and organizational performance, developing instructional materials and building organizational capacity by training trainers.  She also develops policies and procedures, facilitates groups and leadership retreats, and identifies key performance indicators (KPIs) in support of strategic planning and entrepreneurship. 

She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Hampton University, and a Master of Science in Human Resource Management/Organizational Development from American University.  She completed doctoral studies in Adult Education and Workplace Learning from Teachers College, Columbia University and received a post graduate certificate in Organization and Systems Development from the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland.  



 

 Maureen Caughran
Maureen Caughran develops and conducts training, team building, and strategic planning sessions for all types of organizations and all levels of management and staff. In her professional writing workshops, she has worked with thousands of managers, economists, lawyers, and other professionals to help them streamline and focus their writing.

Current and past clients include: AHC Inc., AHC Management LLC, Linc Facility Services, EMCOR, EMCOR Facilities Services, Charles E. Smith Commercial Realty Inc., Akridge, Legum & Norman Inc., The World Bank, The Golden Triangle Business Improvement District, The Building Owners and Managers Institute, The Smithsonian Institution, Social Security Administration, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid, Department of Commerce, U.S. Small Business Administration, Environmental Protection Agency, Department of Agriculture. 

She has been a guest instructor at The American University and at Marymount University.  Maureen has been a trainer and consultant for over twenty years, in both the public and private sectors. Smith Companies. She received a Master of Science in Administration with a concentration in Human Systems and Organizational Behavior from The George Washington University, a B.A. from The Ohio State University, and a Diploma from the Cours de Civilisation Française at the University of Paris.

 

 Jeffrey T. Armbruster
Jeffrey Armbruster is an engineer, former science research manager, and member of the Senior Executive Service.   He brings a great deal of experience in analytical processes, project planning and management, and executive leadership to the coaching relationship. 

Jeffrey has been an instructor for the SES Candidate Development Programs for both DOE and DOI, architect for the leadership development programs in 2 federal agencies and 1 state agency and also a member of the executive coaching pool maintained by the Federal Executive Institute for the past 5 years. 

Jeffrey’s belief in leadership is far more about life skill than it is about job skill—get the life skills right, the rest follows.  He brings a great deal of experience in analytical processes, project planning and management, and executive leadership to the coaching relationship. His federal career spanned more than 37 years.


 

 Becky Kennedy (Senior Trainer/Facilitator)
Becky Kennedy has almost 30 years of experience teaching within the public, private and non-profit sectors.  In the public sector, Becky’s federal career included serving as Deputy Training Administrator for DOT’s Office of Inspector General as well as working at the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) serving as Adjunct Faculty, Subject Matter Expert, Mentor, Facilitator, and Senior Auditor. 

Over a 15 year period, Becky also managed audits at GAO that focused on both domestic and international programs and delivered training to staff within the Treasury Department, the Defense Intelligent Agency, IBM, and Lockheed Martin.  During the past three years, Becky served as private consultant to the public and private sectors.  Becky frequently spoke at professional conferences on issues impacting government auditors and accountability professionals, and she provided leadership training to high school students. 

Becky has a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Michigan and completed leadership courses at Harvard University and the University of Maryland. She currently holds the positions of Adjunct Professor in the American University School of International Service’s Inter-Cultural Management Institute, Leadership Coach at the Gestalt International Service Center, and special Government Expert for the U. S. Department of Transportation Office and Inspector General

 

 Christine Jackson (Sr. Associate Marketing)
Christine Jackson is a proven leader and manager with extensive “hands on” experience in project management, process improvement, and communications/marketing.  She worked at the U. S. Postal Service for 25 years.  She has more than 10 years of experience improving Government and private industry operations with sectors in Federal government, Healthcare, Non-profit, and Retail entities. 

Christine is Certified in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt) and has successfully led major change initiatives for clients including the Department of Homeland Security, Department of State, US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).  These projects resulted in greatly improved operational efficiency and customer satisfaction, cost savings to client organizations, and increased revenue to the USPS.

Her efforts have focused on establishing, improving, and integrating enterprise processes to improve efficiency and enable better decision-making, increasing transparency to inspire trust; and ensuring that mission execution is appropriately resourced.   In the last 2 years, Christine has served in Human Resource Management and has developed strong partnerships and collaborated with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders at all organizational levels.
