Dispute Resolution

We assist organizations in responding to conflicts and disputes which may impair organizational performance or which have the potential to lead to grievances or complaints. We also assist our clients in bringing about resolution to grievances, and complaints of discrimination. 

We utilize a variety of methods including:

Negotiation-- a discussion between two or more people solving disagreements, deciding what to do, or making a bargain.  

Conciliation-- the use of a third person who is asked to help the parties reach an amicable resolution of their dispute.  

Facilitation-- helping the parties to the conflict define and meet their goals and exchange ideas and information for solving problems that will help them move toward agreement and resolution.  

Mediation--  a method for discussing the positions and interests of the different parties from the perspective of a “middle ground” that addresses the concerns of each person’s concerns.  Mediators do not take sides, give legal advice, or make decisions about the matter at hand. They simply guide the parties to new possibilities for resolution.

Consensus Building--  a process of exploring the importance of the positions taken in a conflict situation with the goal of creating and expanding options and outcomes that may be agreeable to the parties to the conflict or dispute.

EEO Counseling-- interview aggrieved persons, involved parties, witnesses and prepare reports in an effort to resolve informal allegations of discrimination at the lowest possible level.

Whatever the problem may be, wherever it may be in terms of a process and whenever an opportunity for resolution may exist; we would like to assist you. We are able to provide EEO Counseling, post counseling and post investigation reviews, ADR and advisory opinions at any stage in the complaints process.

We would, also, like to assist you with situations where third party facilitation would be helpful in resolving the dispute or conflict.
